Problem :

Pre-launch campaigns present a unique challenge — creating awareness and excitement for a product before its details are publicly revealed. For Tata’s upcoming Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV), only the vehicle name was available, with no visuals, specifications, or marketing assets.

This lack of available information made it difficult to communicate value, sustain curiosity, and encourage early engagement. Without an engaging digital presence, users might overlook the pre-launch or fail to connect with the significance of the new release. The challenge was to design a teaser experience that built anticipation, captured leads, and maintained user interest without revealing the vehicle itself.

Challenge :

Designing a dedicated EV experience that separated electric vehicles from diesel, petrol, and CNG models while maintaining a cohesive visual identity and seamless user journey.

  • Preserving 91trucks’ brand consistency while giving the EV section a distinct and future-oriented look.

  • Highlighting key EV specifications—such as range, charging time, and battery capacity—without cluttering the interface.

  • Ensuring smooth, responsive performance across devices and screen sizes.

  • Collaborating closely with the product team to refine flows and incorporate feedback efficiently.

  • Balancing tight timelines with the need for visual clarity and usability excellence.

Solution :

Working closely with the product team, I explored various layout structures and content hierarchies to create a more intuitive browsing experience for EV users. Through design iterations and feedback sessions, we refined how key specifications like battery capacity, charging time, and range were presented, ensuring clarity and engagement throughout the interface.

The process focused on balancing user expectations with 91Trucks’ business objectives. By aligning design decisions with product goals, the final solution delivered a seamless, visually engaging experience that made discovering and comparing electric vehicles effortless.

Summary :

Led the UI/UX design for the 91trucks EV section, shaping a cohesive and accessible digital experience that aligns with the platform’s business goals and user needs. The new design separates electric vehicles from traditional fuel categories—diesel, petrol, and CNG—through a clear structure and intuitive navigation system. Collaborating closely with the product team, I refined layouts, content hierarchy, and interaction patterns to ensure a fluid user journey. The result is a visually refined section that improves EV discoverability, strengthens brand perception, and supports India’s transition toward cleaner transportation.
